Bobby Donnelle Hill was born Oct. 18, 1960, in Camden County, Ga., to the late Bobby Hill and Mamie L. Fields Hill. He joined Carnegie Chapel Church at an early age. There, he sang in the youth choir and served faithfully on the usher board. Bobby attended the public schools of Camden County and graduated from Camden County High School in 1978. He attended truck driving school in Americus, Ga. He found great joy working in the trucking industry, but later landed a job with Rhone Poulenc (formerly Union Carbide Corporation) for many years. Bobby was a fun-loving person. He was always willing to extend a helping hand, and he loved making others laugh. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing, trucking and family gatherings. His favorite past-time was spending time with family and friends.
