Catha Way was born Dec. 21, 1957, in Woodbine, Ga., to the late Sarah Herrin and Freddie Ellis. She was affectionately known by family and friends as "Cat" and "Cathy." Catha departed this earthly life to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, with her family by her side.
